The answers to the following questions:

Describe your previous experience with computer art.

I’ve had experiences with computer art such as Photoshop or Gimp and other editing and drawing software’s

Whose is responsible if the computer crashes and your project disappears? What will happen?

It would be my fault if the computer crashed and my work wasn’t saved up to a USB Drive and I happen to lost all my work.

How will you back up your work? (hint: Google Drive, USB Drive)

I’ll back up my work with either a USB Drive or another backing up software

Why is it important to post your work to your blog every class?

For validation that you did your work and completed it successfully in order to receive credit.

My hero collage project was fun to do and interesting to see it all come together and take form into something new. My project focused on Martin Luther King Jr. as my hero and flowers surrounding him that represents who he was.

Martin Luther King Jr. was a minister and a social activist during the civil rights movement who organized nonviolent protests for freedom, peace and equality for black and whites based on his beliefs and fought for all of the people of different races.

The flowers I used to correlate with my main focus was black-eyed susans they stand for justice and it reminds me of Martin Luther King Jr. and how he fought for justice during the civil rights movement and how it played a big part into the person that he was. The other flowers I’ve used in this piece was Borage which stands for bluntness and directness and Amaryllis which stands for pride.

Project update 9/28/20

Here’s an update on my nerds flower, i’m filling in the flower with nerds and each new pattern will be a shade lighter than the pattern behind it to make a cool shading pattern. For next class I will be continuing on doing that.

Here’s the pictures i’m going to use for my project that has a removed background or that i’m going to separate myself. Here’s the rose I drew that i’m going to fill out with nerds.

9/17/20 Project Proposal

For the everyday object digital collage I’m going to use nerd candies in a pattern that fills up the shape of a rose or two roses that will cause a gradient of light reds/maroon and pinks. The shape of the nerds will contrast with the shape of the rose petals/outline.

I’m Back

Since quarantine started and summer break I’ve been focusing more on digital art and strengthening my anatomy skills, I’ve been wanting to try out video editing for a while and animation and gotten a bit into it but I haven’t finished.

I’m comfortable with any art that is digital and willing to learn new techniques and tricks in how to perform better with art. As for how to help me better in learning digital art and this course, just having examples set would be nice.

Digital resources I have at home are I have a mouse, a computer with drawing apps/programs on it, a flashdrive. A drawing tablet and pen and access to photoshop.

Here’s some pictures of the digital art I’ve made that I really like.

Mes project ideas

For this project I have a couple of concepts of having it nature or forest- ruined type themed, I don’t have a sketch yet but more of a collage of pictures that I want in my project of people in the ruins or exploring.
